This demo reel shows movie clips featuring some of the best sets that I have had the privilege to work on as an art director or assistant art director since 2000. I had the good fortune and rewarding experience to work with some of the best production designers and supervising art directors in the film industry on these film sets. These sets could not have been possible without their contribution. Just as importantly, these sets would never look so good if it weren't for the many dedicated and talented craftspeople and technicians who built them. These amazing film production people would include the set decorators, painters, carpenters, sculptors, lighting technicians and rigging grips. They all contribute to make our set designs look their best. Then, of course, there are the directors and cinematographers who shot the scenes that feature our sets. Thank you for shooting wide angles that showcase our film sets. (And thanks for also lighting the sets bright enough for us to see!) A big shout-out to actors, special effects and visual effects dept. who bring our film sets to life. The physical sets that we design, build, paint, dress and light are such fleeting things. Here today, gone tomorrow. After a director says "That's a wrap!", all that will remain of these film sets is what was captured on camera and put into the final cut of a movie.
